THE INSPIRATION
the energy. the afterglow.
for laura, the idea began with the rhythm of a sporting life: the sprint, the stretch and the stillness that follows. a longtime wearer of madeleine’s knitwear, she imagined pieces that could move with her through every part of the day.
dawn dog walks, cycling across london, time on the tennis court and travel further afield. soft layers to pull on after a game, take on location or settle into at home.
“I love the sprint and dance of my sporting life but also crave the stillness afterwards, the afterglow. And I wanted my collection to be infused by the spirit of both.”

laura brought a clear vision. madeleine brought her knowledge of knitwear and a belief that the best clothes earn a lasting place in a wardrobe. together, they developed pieces to be worn often and made your own.
black and cream run throughout, with graphic stripes, contrast trims and considered pockets. the gala hoodie, luna knit and charlie polo take their names from laura’s tennis friends; a bonnet and legwarmers bring a playful finishing touch.
