A candlelit cabin on the rooftop of The Queen of Hoxton. There’s choice of cosying up in the wigwam on moss covered tree stumps or hanging out by the bar and enjoying the fairy lights and woodland decorations.
It also boasts spectacular views of the East End and an extensive range of Christmas inspired cocktails. Egg Snog or a Hot Buttered Rum?
Nestle in under a gazebo and sit by a log burner with a Hot White Russian and you’ll find it hard to believe this place was once a car park! The Winter Garden in Liverpool is an extremely popular venue that also hosts regular free gigs and events.
Arrive early if you want to get in.
Perfect for all the family, Leeds Town Hall has transformed itself into an enchanted forest complete with cocktail bar and Father Christmas visits. Tour the old Victorian jail cells before settling down with a glass of mulled wine in the ‘woods’.
Another car park venue but this time in the trendy Shoreditch area. 10,000 sq/ft of food stalls, cocktail bars, private chalets and gardens will be sure to never leave you bored. Music in the form of house, disco, funk and techno will make it easier to get through these hard winter months. It was one of the most popular events last winter so you’d be silly not to go!
Back by popular demand, Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany restaurant has opened its winter cabin once again this year. On the edge of Regent’s Park is this cosy little cabin where you can indulge yourself in wild boar sausages and black pudding scotch eggs. Don’t forget to try the warm buttered rum hot chocolate. It’s available for exclusive hire for two hour periods only so be sure to book in advance!
