The 5 best ways to spend a sunny day in the UK

Summer has arrived, but don’t let not knowing where to go or what to see keep you indoors. We scoured the country to find the best outdoor activities to make the most of the sun while it lasts.

1- Jubilee Pool, Penzance, Cornwall

One of the last remaining 1930s lidos in Britain, Jubilee pool is Britain’s largest surviving seawater lido. A family day ticket to the famous location costs only £14.50 making the perfect affordable location for swimming, relaxing, sunbathing and soaking in the glorious views. With its original art deco design, you could easily be fooled that this hotspot was in the depths of the Mediterranean.

East London’s roof top bar is the place to spend sunny days without needing to escape the city. If you’re after a fun inclusive activity then their rooftop crazy golf is a must. Want to relax? Their open air cinema with comfy deck chairs, provided head phones and an unmissable view of the city. Hungry?
