Showcasing the visionary work of the late Alexander McQueen, the much anticipated ‘Savage Beauty’ exhibition has finally come to the UK and is now on display at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum until the 2nd August.
The gorgeous display shows pieces dating back to McQueen’s 1992 graduate collection up until his unfinished A/W 2010 collection. In true McQueen style the exhibition is presented as a spectacle, in a keeping with the late designer’s stunning fashion shows.
The original version of ‘Savage Beauty’ was presented at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art back in 2011 and became the museum’s top ten most visited exhibitions. Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham and Princess Beatrice are among some of the quests to have already viewed the incredible London exhibition. It is surely a must see for lovers of fashion, art and the amazing visionary that was Alexander Mcqueen.
